This old farmhouse in the beautiful region of the Lot in France has been in our family for almost 50 years. Having lain empty for decades before my parents discovered it in 1973, the house was thought to have been used by the French Resistance during the war - with an old door resting on grenade boxes as a table for their early meals.
The house opened as an Auberge in 1986, with my brother Lawrence as Chef. It quickly gained a reputation amongst the local population for excellent food in a convivial atmosphere.
The house is now available for groups of up to 10 people to book through VRBO https://www.vrbo.com/10406473ha
